Culture Transformation Strategist | Empathy Evolved, LLC

Everett Daily helps leaders and teams understand restorative justice, strengthen their practice, and take responsibility for the culture they create.

His perspective comes from working directly with communities, young people, families, educators, and school leaders. He has recruited people for employment programming, mentored youth, managed a mentoring program, worked school security, taught middle and high school, and served as an Assistant Principal of Culture.

Those experiences inform how he teaches, coaches, and supports the people responsible for serving others.

Experience across the community and the school

Everett began his work going door to door and block to block on Chicago’s South Side, recruiting teenagers and adults for job programming. He provided job training, mentored young people, and managed the mentoring program.

He later moved into schools, working as a security guard on Chicago Avenue on the West Side. He went on to teach middle and high school students in Englewood and Marquette Park before becoming an Assistant Principal of Culture.

Each role placed him in a different relationship with the people he served—and brought a different set of responsibilities. He learned restorative justice through practice, developed his classroom management through teaching, and approached school leadership with a commitment to leading by example.

That experience allows him to work with teachers, security staff, deans, and administrators with an understanding of the responsibilities they carry. He helps them connect restorative principles to the decisions, conversations, and challenges they encounter every day.

Why Empathy Evolved exists

A consultant since 2020, Everett brought his experience and convictions together through Empathy Evolved: a space to teach, train, coach, and engage people who have a heart for people.

His work begins with a responsibility shared by everyone who leads or serves: to examine what others experience from us.

Our knowledge matters. So do our assumptions, tone, presence, expectations, and use of authority. Being effective requires us to recognize when our own habits contribute to conflict and become willing to change how we respond.

Empathy Evolved helps people make that connection between what they understand and how they serve, drawing on principles Everett has practiced and taught throughout his work.

Care that carries responsibility

Everett’s approach is shaped by faith, a belief in the power of community, and a commitment to accountability with support.

He teaches people to respond with empathy and support first, while maintaining discipline, consistency, and clear expectations. He believes consequences should educate, inform, and hold people responsible. When harm occurs, the work includes understanding its impact, addressing responsibility, and pursuing meaningful repair.

His conviction is direct: if we love the people we serve, we must be willing to make adjustments so we can serve them well.

Empathy Evolved brings that conviction into its training, workshops, and coaching—helping develop people who know their work, love those they serve, and take responsibility for the culture they shape.
